Here’s A Fun Lineup Of Orange County Events For You

Let it never be said that there’s nothing to do in Orange County. Whatever you’re into, you’re sure to find some events that appeal to you, and the month of November is another prime example of that. Here’s what’s in store over the next few days that’s sure to get you out of the house.

West Coast Gem and Mineral Show

From November 9th through the 11th in Costa Mesa, the West Coast Gem and Mineral Show is back at a new location, the Hilton Orange County-Costa Mesa. For all collectors of rare and precious gems and minerals, this is a can’t-miss opportunity to chat with like-minded individuals and score some great deals. There will be 75 vendors there with jewelry beads, crystals, lapidary, meteorites, fossils, gift items, and metaphysical supplies of all kinds. Admission is free, and it’s open to the public. Seldom will you have an opportunity to grab so many new items for your collection all in one place.

Annual European Food Festival

On November 10th in Irvine at the Lakeview Senior Center, you can check out the Annual European Food Festival, one of the tastiest Orange County events you’re likely to find. The Temple of the Most Holy Theotokos Serbian Orthodox Church puts on this one-of-a-kind event every year, and if you’re a fan of European food or you’re eager to try something new, this is the place to be. Food is only the beginning, though. This family-friendly event has something for everybody. There’s a bounce house, face painting, carnival games, arts and crafts, dancing, and live music. As for the edibles, many European countries are represented, and there are both meat and vegetarian options.

Dachshund Races

This is one of the events in Orange County where your canine companion can have just as much fun as you. Dachshunds are an energetic breed, and this day is just for them, as on November 11th at Old World Village in Huntington Beach, these “weiner-dogs” have a chance to try and beat out the competition and win bragging rights. Your canine companion can socialize and make some new friends, and so can you. The people here are passionate about their pooches, and you’ll be thrilled getting to know the members of this warm and welcoming community.

That’s what’s coming up over the next few days. This blog was brought to you by Toyota of Orange, the place to get used cars in Orange County that has the best prices, guaranteed.
