Check Out Some Of The Highest-Rated Chinese Restaurants in Orange County!

If you love Chinese food as much as we do, then chances are you want to try some of the local restaurants here in Orange County. Luckily for you, there is a multitude of eateries for you to choose from. Why not consider one of these five fantastic destinations for a great Chinese feast as one of your next personal Orange County events to experience?

TG Garden (Garden Grove)

This Hong Kong-style cafe is certainly not one to miss, featuring very popular dishes, including Mongolian Beef, the House Special Chicken, Wonton Noodle Soup, Honey Garlic Pork Chop, and of course: noodles and rice! This restaurant is vegetarian-friendly, and the staff also speaks Mandarin!

“Aesthetically nice restaurant and kept clean but something told me it could be a bit cleaner or cleaner looking. Small quaint space. As for the food, exactly the Hong Kong-style Chinese food I wanted for me and my family of 6. Portions were generous, the food came out fast and fresh, and the taste was delicious. The service was great and even gave us complimentary food and drink for our first time there. If you are looking for Chinese food because you do not consider Panda Express and orange chicken supreme Chinese food, this is definitely your spot.” – Dee B.

China Moon (Laguna Niguel)

Owners Vanissa and Jackson Chen have been working in the restaurant industry for over four decades. You will love high-quality dishes such as fried shrimp, vegetable spring rolls, and the mu shu!

“What is there to say …. the best BBQ Pork in Orange County. The whole staff makes you feel like Family. Thank you James the Chef, Shoo the Manager, and Jon the Proprietor. You have cultivated an outstanding atmosphere and staff. Lucy is always the best.” – Brian E., Laguna Hills

Royal Wok (Orange)

The Laing family here at Royal Wok has been serving the Orange community delicious Chinese cuisine since 1993. What person would want to skip out on a chance to dine on some creamy cheese wonton, fried chicken wings, or broccoli shrimp?!

“Always have amazing food here. So many choices and all great flavors. Lunch specials are of great value. Not many servers so you might have to wait if you dine in but they are super friendly!!” – Debbie P., Orange

New Shanghai Restaurant (Lake Forest)

New Shanghai Restaurant has delighted both locals and tourists alike for 34 years now! We can’t just get enough of those veggie egg rolls, the house special chicken, or the sizzling rice soup that will send your taste buds to individual Orange County events of their own!

“Love their chow mein. My go to spot for chow mein closed a few years back and I just couldnt find a spot that used their noodles until New Shanghai. Our go to: Chow mein, Szechwan Pork, Pork in Hot Garlic Sauce, *House Special Chicken (not a fan the last time), Mongolian Beef.” – S L., Irvine

Sichuan Impression

Although this restaurant is a bit new in comparison to the suggestions above, that doesn’t mean it’s lacking in quality! You’re gonna love the Kung pow chicken and the cold noodles! The staff speaks Mandarin and is women-owned.

“The ribs were also very tasty. All the dishes had the right amount of heat. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive from South County.” – Bradley C., Auburn, CA
