You Won’t Want to Miss Out on These September 2022 Events for Kids!

If the kids in your family feel those back-to-school blues, then we’ve got some great news! What exactly could that be, you ask? Well, it turns out there are plenty of exciting Orange County events they can look forward to! Don’t believe us? Just look at them right here and see for yourself!

Free Library Craft Day for Kids at Irvine (Saturday, September 3, 2022, 11:30 – 2:30 PM)

Come on over to the University Park Library for theme-based crafts. There is no need to register; simply drop by at any time during the event and leave whenever you need to.

Toddlers & Tunes at the Irvine Spectrum Center (Tuesday, September 6, 2022, 10 AM – 12 PM)

Toddlers & Tunes is held on the first Tuesday of every month. From 10 am to 12 pm, Toddlers and Tunes will be held on the Giant Wheel Lawn next to the Ferris Wheel. Enjoy free rides on the giant wheel and carousel, games, a live DJ, and other outdoor entertainment.

Dinner & Kids Club / Teen Impact at The Way Fellowship (Wednesday, September 7, 2022, 6 PM – 7:30 PM)

Want to join a new faith group with your family? This dinner event can be a great introduction to middle and high-school-aged students. It will be a great opportunity to make new friends through the ministry!

Anaheim Town Square Kids Fun Zone (Saturday, September 10, 2022, 11 AM – 2 PM)

Children make clay coasters with their own relief designs, drawing inspiration from the gold metalworking techniques developed by the Incas and Aztecs in prehistoric America. Clay leftovers are used to make beads and animals. Children can take the finished coasters home to dry and use as decorations once the sculpture is complete. The public is welcome to this event, but registration is required. The gathering will be situated between Target and Orange County Goodwill.

Kids Art Class at the Santa Ana Kidseum (Saturday, September 10, 2022, 12 PM – 1:30 PM)

Following the free Saturday Morning Cartoons with Drop In and Draw, there will be an art class for kids ages 8 to 16. Each class will work on a painting or drawing project using a different medium under the direction of skilled teaching artists. Pre-registration is required, and the event holds up to 20 attendees.

Bristol Warner Village Kids Fun Zone (Saturday, September 24, 2022, 11 AM – 2 PM)

Step Up for Kids Walkathon in Dana Pointe (Sunday, September 25, 2022)

Encourage kids to help other kids by signing up for one of the most generous Orange County events you can attend this month! Your assistance enables us to carry on providing for the community and have a direct, beneficial effect on a child’s life. During the event in November 2021, our charitable programs gave back over $249,000 to kids in Capistrano Valley and Camp Pendleton.
