Orange County Top Halloween Events in 2019

Everyone’s favorite season has already arrived in Orange County!

Halloween events are popping up throughout Southern California. Most of these activities are child-friendly or family-friendly and they are designed to help you have a memorable Halloween event in Orange County.

Pick up your calendar and mark suitable dates for visiting Orange County events that best suits your family, and make this Halloween season memorable! Here is our list of best Halloween events for children and families in Orange County events

1. Knott’s spooky farm

Knott’s Snoopy Camp and Ghost Town is celebrated every weekend in October in Orange County. It’s a family-style Halloween event for kids.

A ghoul can collect Halloween treats through ghost town tricks. Kids of 3 to 11 years will get free candy bags.

The fun Halloween themed show at the Camp Snoopy Theatre, “Monsters Come”, hosts costume competitions for children wearing costumes every day.

2. Oogie Boogie Bash at Disneyland Resort

Disney’s Halloween party begins on the first of October and ends on October 31. After the party starts, you will get 5 hours of “Aegis” tricks, including unique Halloween-themed entertainment, attractions, role greetings, and more.

3. Halloween at Disneyland

September 6 – October 31 | Two parks in Disneyland Resort

Disneyland Resort and Disney’s California Adventure Park are all decorated for Halloween! Check out these special decorations and enjoy Halloween events throughout the city.

4. Halloween At The Big Wolf House Hotel

October 1 to 31st | Anaheim Big Wolf House

Book and check-in before October 31, 2019, to commemorate the between Hall. They will arrange special events for you to share with your family, including – tricky trails, monster carnivals, weird storytime, and more!

5. Pumpkin Night

October 10 – November 3 | 5:00 pm – 10:00 | Pomona Fairplex

In 2016, a group of passionate artists set out to create a new Halloween experience. 

In “Pumpkin Night,” visitors can travel through eight different themed lands, all of which are made using more than 3,000 hand-carved real and synthetic pumpkins.

Now, for the first time in our history, we have brought the “Pumpkin Night” experience to Los Angeles!

6. Autumn Festival

October 31 | 6 – 9:00 pm | Compass Bible Church

Kettle corn, pancakes, lots of candy, coffee, laser tags, riding pony, rock climbing wall, Ferris wheel, many game stalls, barbecue hot dogs, and in and out. 

The event is free for kids and it includes rides, games, and sweets.

7. Discover the weird science at the Science Center

October Weekend | OC Discovery Science Center

In October, huge bugs, creepy reptiles, and friendly ghosts all enter the discovery cube of exploring weird science.

Join them and explore the colors and sizes of errors in extensive collections and hands-on learning workstations. Even the youngest goblin will have unprecedented fun in exploring insects.

8. The cockroach in the zoo

October 19, 20th, 26th and 27th | 5:30 – 8:00 pm | Santa Ana Zoo

A family-friendly event of “joy but not terrible” encourages everyone to wear costumes!

One of the safest quail eggs for children (2 to 12 years old) during Halloween can get good things at the TEN quail egg stations throughout the zoo and on the Trick- or therapeutic trial.

9. Bootastic Halloween Party

October 11, 18, 25 and 31 | 5:30 pm | Adventure City

Halloween time is approaching, and the adventure City will host a family-friendly carnival festival! Book your tickets as soon as possible.

10. Pretend that urban quail eggs cross the city

October 31 | Pretend City Children’s Museum

Join our unique trick or treating event, and you can get some beautiful gifts. A town full of candies, this party must be smashing!

11. Pretend City Costume Week

October 27-31 | Pretend City Children’s Museum

Black cat and witch’s beer, we want to dress like you! This whole season is about wearing a unique outfit, and you can enjoy a 25% discount on your second admission!

12. OC Ghostbusters visit pretend city

October 26 | Pretend City Children’s Museum

We are not afraid of ghosts, especially since the Ghostbusters will be here to deal with all the ghouls and goblins who are trying to hinder our entertainment. Join us to enjoy activities like clicking photos and have a great time.

13. Frankenstein Friday

October 25 | Pretend City Children’s Museum

Play a monster in the pretending city and pay tribute to Mary Shelley’s classic fictional Frankenstein through these fun activities.

Dance with Monster Mash, make Frankenstein and do some Monster science and math activities. Let yourself be the monster of the night!

14. Monster Competition

October 26, 27, 28, 31 | 6 pm – 9:30 | Laguna Arts Festival

This Halloween festival and master beauty festival will bring a good time to Laguna Beach!

The Monster Contest comes back every five years, bringing a terrible and fun time to the family, full of appalling tricks and hospitality.

The backstage of the monster beauty contest has turned into a haunted house. Where guests can carry out explorations and recover treasures from exotic places around the world.

15. The creepy Casa Haunted House

October 25th, 26th and 27th | 7 – 9:00 pm | CA

CASA CREEPY: Haunted House is one of the most exciting and unique haunted houses in Southern Orange County. 

Stroll through the 2.5-acre haunted house in the neighborhood! Werewolves, vampires, and ghosts are waiting for you in every corner of our historic home, where you can bet on creepy reptiles in the garden.

Regular films such as Nosferatu and retro-themed special effects will shine throughout the home and offer sweets and snacks. It is suitable for families with children over eight years old. 

Before leaving Orange County, take some time to visit Toyota near Irvine, for a test drive of your favorite car.
