WOTS Facilitator Training for CSEC Prevention, Orange County

WOTS Facilitator Training for CSEC Prevention, Orange County

Sexual exploitation has unfortunately become quite common among the youth these days. Known as one of the prominent problems among youngsters, the issue needs some important attention to be solved. Keeping in view the importance of preventing commercial sexual exploitation, Nola Brantley Speaks is bringing Orange County CSEC Prevention WOTS Facilitator Training.

The Commercial Sexual Exploitation Prevention Curriculum (CSEC) aims to educate, prepare and empower young people against commercial sexual exploitation through similar Orange County events.  The program provides them with the tools and opportunities for discussion to save them from unintentionally becoming victims of such exploitation.

The course outlines the main aspects of CSEC and introduces examples of CSEC in play, the CSEC business model, and the objectification of women and girls in the entertainment industry. The course also discusses the dangerous factors of experiencing CSEC and the risks related to the internet and social media. Also, the difference between being in a healthy relationship and being in a relationship with an exploiter.

In addition, the course discusses the various types of exploiters and recruiters that you may come across. Not only this but their tactics and their pick-up routes as well. During each workshop, the team will review safety and resource tips to ensure that young people know what resources are accessible to them.  All seminars will be based upon group discussions, events and different forms of multimedia.

So, don’t miss the chance to educate yourself and others in the future against sexual exploitation. This December, the event can make your holidays productive in a very beneficial way. This training will not just benefit you but also the people you care about.
