With Easter just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about how you’re going to celebrate! If you’re looking for ideas on what to do in Orange County, we’ve got you covered. From attending a special Easter service to participating in an Easter egg hunt, there are plenty of ways to enjoy this holiday. Keep reading for our top picks for celebrating Easter Orange County events!

Photos with the Easter Bunny at the Westminster Mall (Friday, March 18 to Saturday, April 16, 2022)

You won’t want to miss the chance to have your children or grandchildren take a classic photo with the Easter bunny. You might have heard horror stories about kids getting scared and the photo shoot turned out to be a complete disaster, but this shouldn’t discourage you from this opportunity. You can teach even the shiest of kids that the Easter Bunny is one of the most lovable creatures walking on this Earth! Otherwise, he wouldn’t be visiting Orange County, right?

Mommy Playdate: Easter Party — Mission Bible Church in Costa Mesa (Friday, April 8, 2022, from 10 AM to 12 PM)

Looking to join a new church with your little disciple? Then come on over to Costa Mesa’s very own Mission Bible Church to introduce them to the true meaning of the Easter holiday. While we love the Easter Bunny as much as the next kid, we mustn’t forget why the day is celebrated. You will be giving your tiny one the opportunity to plant the seed that will be their relationships with Jesus Himself. And of course, bring your basket so they can participate in the egg hunt!

Aliso Viejo Community Association Spring Celebration (Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 9 am to 11:30 am)

At this event, you will have a chance to meet Peter Rabbit in the flesh (or in the fur?). Come and sign up for the egg hunt in advance, where you will also have the chance to enjoy an abundance of activities including a pancake breakfast, balloon twisters, community booths, crafts, and face painting!

Easter Brunch at the JW Marriott Anaheim Resort

Come on down from now until Easter Sunday for a three-course brunch that you and your taste buds will never forget! This brunch includes red velvet French toast, Dungeness crab cake benedict, cauliflower steak, and plenty of desserts. A kid’s menu is also included. An adult ticket is $65 while kids can get admission for $35 per ticket.

The Eggstravaganza at the Laguna Beach Community Center (Friday, April 15, 2022, from 9:30 am – 11:30 am)

Why not spend Good Friday in great company? Come on over and take your kids to the Laguna Beach Community Center to enjoy an egg hunt, face painting, bounce houses, premiere balloon artists, arts and crafts, and even goody bags! Refreshments will be provided. Best of all, it’s completely free!

Whether or not you formally celebrate the purpose of the Easter season, there is still plenty of fun to be had by people of all walks of life – and these Orange County events are proof of the pudding! (Or should we say, the Easter Egg?) We hope to see you at one of these events next month!
