Events: Orange County Food And Drink Edition

So many things to do, Orange County residents, and so little time. With spring just around the corner, there’s no shortage of activities to get you up off your couch. Binge watching Netflix is fine, but for those who want to stretch their legs, we’ve got a few suggestions for March that are all about good food and drink.

We’ll start with the Orange County Food and Wine Festival, which takes place on Saturday, March 5th, at the Marconi Automotive Museum in Tustin. This charity event is all about raising money for youth organizations in the U.S. and abroad. Many top eateries from around the O.C. will be in attendance, and wineries from Napa, Paso Robles, and Santa Barbara will be there as well. There will be samples galore, as well as the option to purchase heartier portions of your favorites. Bring your appetite.

Next up is Knott’s Boysenberry Festival, at Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park beginning on Friday, March 16th. Over a three week period this flavorful berry will be celebrated, with more than eighty dishes incorporating the boysenberry. There will be lots of sweet treats to choose from, with cakes, pies, cookies, and a whole lot more. There will also be several varieties of live music to choose from throughout the park. Purchasing a ticket to Knott’s Berry Farm gives you a chance to be part of the festival, while you still have access to all the usual rides and rollercoasters, too.

Our last suggestion for the month is the Orange County Beer and Music Festival. This one’s in Santa Anna, and it goes down on Saturday, March 24th. If you’re a craft beer fan, you’re going to be in heaven, with over one hundred beer makers eager for you to sample their wares. There will also be live music, and several food trucks in attendance as well. Make up your food and beer pairings, but remember, this shindig is only for those twenty-one and over.

That’s all for now, folks. March is looking positively tasty, so enjoy, and as always, party safely.
