Festi-Fall at City Hall

Although Covid-19 has made changes to our yearly October traditions, like the Treats in the Streets event in Orange, the fun will carry on! Orange County events will be adjusted this year in order to meet new health and safety guidelines. Instead of holding the Orange Circle Treats In The Streets Autumn Festival, the City of Orange will be hosting the Festi-Fall at City Hall event instead! This new addition to Orange holiday traditions is a good way to keep the spirit of Halloween alive and provide families with a way to get out of the house and enjoy the October season.

The event will debut on Friday, October 23rd, and continue on until Thursday, October 29th. Hours will vary between each day, so be sure to check the schedule below. This is a free event hosted by the City of Orange and will take place on the front lawn of City Hall. Parking will be available in the back.

Families are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes and bring a decorated pumpkin. Help the City of Orange turn the front lawn of City Hall into a beautiful pumpkin patch! At the Festi-Fall at City Hall, there will be a spooktacular photo booth to take family photos and a fun maze for the kids to run through. Plus, everyone gets to participate in a surprise take-home craft!

This event is especially important for the community since the annual Treats in the Streets festival was canceled. During Covid-19 many people have endured hardships, so attending the Festi-Fall at City Hall event will provide a way to help those who need it most during this challenging time. Support your community and spread holiday cheer at the Festi-Fall at City Hall!

Tips for Guests:

  • Wear a mask at all times.
  • Leave pets at home.
  • Wear comfortable shoes.
  • Bring a decorated pumpkin!

While the community cannot gather for the traditional “Treats in the Streets” event because of the current health crisis and implemented guidelines, the City of Orange has made it clear that this crisis will not end the yearly traditions but merely alter them. There are still a lot of Orange County events like this one that will keep the celebration of fall alive and offer some fun.

Remember to always wear a face covering, practice social distancing, and follow city health guidelines. Following these rules will allow for a fun and safe event for the community.

The City of Orange loves new sponsors so if you’re interested in giving back to the community or sponsoring Treats in the Streets contact the City of Orange to learn more and become a community partner.
