Pretend City’s Star Wars weekend celebration
From May 1st to May 2nd, Pretend City will be hosting a special event in honor of Star Wars for all the little Jedi of Orange County! At this event, your children can enjoy space inspired exhibits and activities, like a galaxy obstacle course designed to get kids moving, art classes featuring a special science lesson as kids use motion and magnets to design and create and meet and greets with special guests dressed like the stars of the series.
Pretend City’s goal for this Star Wars extravaganza is to help develop children’s loco-motor and gross skills as well as nurture their natural creativity and curiosity. Furthermore, they also encourage parents to have an open discussion with their kids about the important themes present in the Star Wars universe, like teamwork and always doing what is moral and ethical, even in difficult situations.
