This Year There Are Many Fun Holiday Orange County Events Taking Place

Orange County has many chances for fun this holiday season, as well as some opportunities to contribute to those less fortunate. These are some activities happening in your community this last month of the year of which you should be aware.

Harley Davidson CHOC Toy Drive Pick-up

At Pretend City Children’s Museum on the 14th of December, there will be a toy drive that benefits CHOC, the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. Please bring only new toys that are durable and easily cleaned, as they will be used in a hospital setting. Santa himself will show up on his Harley to collect the toys along with some of his helpers, so you won’t want to miss that. Donate a toy to a child who needs it this Christmas.

Pet Photo Ops

For many pet owners, their four-legged friends are like their children. It’s likely you’ll want your cat or dog to get their chance for a picture with Santa too. You can do that at the Brea Mall on December 9th at the Food Court. You can also do so at the Shops at Mission Viejo on December 9th, where your pets can pose with Santa on the lower level close to Nordstroms.

Holiday Hotel Fun

If you’re staying at the Great Wolf Lodge in Garden Grove all this month up till January 4th of next year, there are some awesome seasonal activities. Included in your stay, you’ll have a chance to meet Santa, play in the snow, and there’s even a life-sized gingerbread house. Both kids and adults should enjoy these and other amenities.

Animal-Related Activities

If your kids are fascinated by animals, then why not combine that interest with the holidays? All throughout the month of December at the Santa Ana Zoo, it will be their annual Holiday Zoobilation event. The whole zoo will be transformed into a winter paradise, with music, lights, snow, and all sorts of decorations. Your kids can see the wide variety of animals from across the world while enjoying the spirit of the holidays.
