If you or your child is interested in taking up a musical instrument, there are a lot of schools to choose from here. It’s no secret that Orange County is home to some of the most talented people in the world, some of them who can pass along their knowledge to you! That’s right! If you’ve ever wanted to learn an instrument like piano or guitar, now is your chance! Check out some of these highly-rated language schools to put on your list of things to do in Orange County this summer!

Irvine School of Music

This school accepts students from preschool age to seniors who are interested in learning the piano, violin, drums, and vocal lessons. You can also get a discount if you enroll siblings in the school and enjoy an annual concert to celebrate the musical achievement of the students!

“We have been studying at ISM for many years. It is a great school. The teachers are very patient and professional. The school holds a concert for students every year, which is encouraging and inspiring. I highly recommend ISM.” – Olivia H., Walnut

Orange County Music Academy – Anaheim Hills

The OCMA has been teaching locals all about the true beauty of music since 2002. You can learn just about how to play any style of music here from classical to jazz – whatever is most up your alley! You can also qualify for a family discount by enrolling multiple members of your household into any program.

“My son has been taking drum lessons here with Brandon for about 2 years and it has been a fantastic experience! Brandon is very knowledgeable and has a great repore with my 10 year old. They have a concert or 2 every couple months at a local pizza restaurant that the kids really enjoy performing in. Would 100% recommend it. Now that we are all gone because of the pandemic, they’ve been holding lessons via Zoom and it seems to be working great.” – Melany S., Placentia

Pacific Conservatory – Orange

Both in-person and virtual lessons are offered at the Pacific Conservatory. Instructor Kim Le is well-renowned not only for her talent but her giving nature, expressing her passion for the music and art world wherever she goes.

“This music school is fantastic for musicians of all ages. Many types of musical instruments are taught here. They offer scholarships to needy students and are heavily involved in the community, giving performances at events like Street Fair, OC Fair, State of the City, and more. They offer school evaluations and Certificate of Merit programs, recitals, and a more classical learning approach, though when they perform in town, it’s usually easy listening, contemporary and rock and roll numbers. My children love Mr. Tim, Mr. Oliver, and Miss Karen.” – Sameer D., Orange

Music Vault Academy –  Mission Viejo

Music Vault Academy is a truly beautiful place, complete with a music hall and colorful paintings to make you feel welcome during your lessons. It is yet another place to nurture your child’s creative side, enforcing a new sense of confidence within them. How’s that for productive things to do in Orange County?

“Awesome place! My daughter has been taking voice lessons with Jeanne. She loves going every week and has learned so much. My husband takes guitar lessons there and he is always super stoked about his lessons. Great customer service and management.” – Jody, Lake Forest
