Holidays at Legoland

Holidays at Legoland

Are you looking for fun things to do in and around Orange County to celebrate the Christmas season with the whole family? Then look no more; you should check out Holidays at Legoland! Located a short drive south outside the OC area in Carlsbad, this event is the perfect opportunity to get away for the day with your family and escape to the fantastic world of Legos! As a bonus, this event is jam-packed with wonderful Christmastime decorations and activities that everyone in your family will enjoy.

Here’s everything you can expect to enjoy at Holidays at Legoland this winter season:

A Christmas tree made entirely out of Legos

The entire park will be decked in jolly holiday decorations sure to give you the Christmas spirit, but its biggest talking point is actually its giant Lego Christmas tree. Adorned with over 400 Lego Ornaments, this 30 foot Lego masterpiece is made to wow guests of any age. Even better, this gorgeous tree puts on a beautiful light show that’s perfect for festive photo opportunities!

A Christmastime Miniland U.S.A.

Miniland U.S.A is a popular attraction at Legoland throughout the entire year that features miniature Lego replicas of popular cities. What makes this display even more special during the Holidays is its festive upgrade to feature Christmas themed decorations and scenes your family is sure to love! Swing by to see Legoland’s version of what Christmas looks like in cities like Las Vegas, New York, and much more!

Live performances

What Christmas celebration is complete without music? You can catch live musical performances from Christmas carolers and Legoland’s own Holiday Trio at select stages and locations across the park.

Christmas character photo ops

Getting a photo with Santa is almost necessary during the holiday season, but Coronavirus has made this close to impossible. Of course, you don’t want to risk the safety of your community, and luckily Legoland has come up with the perfect solution for those who still want their photos with Santa: socially distanced meet and greets! Several popular characters, including Lego Santa, will be available for these distanced meetings so you can snap plenty of photos of your family enjoying the Christmas spirit.

Lego building

If your little ones love hands-on activities, then they’ll love the Lego building workshops available at this Holiday event. You can find these workshops at different locations in the park where your family can participate in making Holiday themed Lego creations.

Tasty treats

Legoland is proud to offer a variety of seasonal sweets and drinks that’ll surely put you in a festive spirit. From hot chocolate, cookies, candied apples, cider, and more, there’s something here for everyone’s tastes and cravings! Their regular restaurants and food stands will also be open so you can enjoy a tasty dinner or lunch before diving into dessert.

Are you looking to gift some Lego sets this Christmas? Shopping at Legoland is the perfect opportunity to do so. There, you’ll be able to find special Lego sets that are only available for purchase at the park, making them perfect gifts for any Lego fans in your life.
