The CHOC Walk Drive-In Movie Night is One of the Best Things to Do in Orange County

Craving a night out at the movies? Drive-in events are now becoming one of the most popular things to do in Orange County. With tickets sold by vehicle, OC residents can save on prices by filling their car seats and splitting the cost. Plus, there’s no need to worry about having noisy neighbors or being noisy neighbors because you’re in the comfort of your own car! Bring your favorite snacks and indulge in laughs with your carmates.

Drive-ins are happening everywhere in Orange County, but if you’re looking to support a particularly good cause, then come to the CHOC Walk Drive-In Movie Night at the Brea Mall! CHOC is a pediatric hospital in Orange County, known for its philanthropic efforts toward children battling cancer and other diseases. The CHOC Walk, an annual fundraising event, is the pride of many OC residents and a popular choice for things to do in Orange County. This year, the CHOC walk was held as a virtual event to mitigate crowds and keep everyone safe. So, if you didn’t get a chance to support the CHOC Walk event this year, then here’s another chance to give to this incredible organization.

The Brea Mall is hosting the CHOC Walk Drive-In Movie Night on December 2nd where audiences can experience Spider-Man Homecoming! Plus, the venue is offering a special promotion where OC residents can purchase both Spider-Man Homecoming and the Nightmare Before Christmas. Start your December off right with a family movie night!

Spider-Man Homecoming joins the Marvel Universe to tell the story of Peter Parker, a smart teen who is trying to balance a normal life while also being Spider-Man! This film follows the events of Captain America: Civil War. Peter struggles to integrate himself into mundane, high school life and his mentorship with Tony Stark (Iron Man). With the reveal of a new supervillain called the Vulture, Peter must go against the advice of his friends in order to save the world.

Tickets for the CHOC Walk Drive-In Movie Night may be purchased online. There are general carload and VIP options available as well as a special donation section for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. Please read the fine print to ensure that you are purchasing the correct ticket. Remember that one ticket permits one vehicle with all passengers inside. Passengers cannot exceed the number of seat belts in the car.

For this event, showtime is at 7:30 pm on December 2nd at the Brea Mall. Cars may enter at 6:30 pm to secure their spots. The film’s audio will be broadcasted through FM radio so it is best to bring a car that has a good sound system. If your car does not have an operational FM radio, then you may bring a handheld one as an alternative.

The venue asks that all movie-goers wear a mask and practice social distancing when outside of the car. There will be guidelines posted as a reminder. Audiences must view the film from a truck bed or from inside a vehicle. Tickets will be scanned upon entrance. Please remember that movie tickets are only valid for the specific time and day listed on the ticket. These tickets cannot be transferred to another show. There will be concessions available with cashless pay only.

When viewers arrive at the venue, parking spots will be provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Attendants will give directions to each vehicle in order to fill out the venue. Larger vehicles may be asked to take the sides or back of the lot in order to prevent obstruction of vision for other vehicles. The venue permits any buses, campers, or RVs.
