Celebrate The Holiday Season At Orange County Events Like The Night of Lights!

Starting December 3rd at the OC Fair and Event Center, the WinterFest of OC will present the Night of Lights. This Orange County event will be a mystical drive through a wonderland of lights that stretches one mile long. The wonderland itself will include over one million lights, music, a Christmas tree lighting show, and a drive-thru. 

Participants will enjoy the mystical show of lights in the safety of their own vehicles. The one-mile drive will allow participants to experience the magic of over a million lights while following the mandated Covid-19 social distancing restrictions. 

Ticket Prices are as follows: *Prices are per car*  

Monday-Tuesday: $49.99              

Wednesday- Thursday: $59.99 

Friday-Saturday: $69.99

Sunday: $59.99 

Here are some questions you may have about the event: 

Q: Are there refunds or exchanges? 

A: All sales are final, so there will be no refunds. 

Q: Will there be merchandise and/or food? 

A: Food and merchandise can be added to your ticket when you checkout. The venue will offer sweet snacks and savory food like turkey legs and chicken tenders. 

*All food and merchandise must be purchased online when you buy your ticket. Upon arrival, your order will be available for pickup before entering the venue. Food or merch will NOT be sold in the venue!* 

Q: Is a face-covering required?

A: Yes, everyone who is in the car must be wearing a face covering if the windows are rolled down. 

Q: Are there themed nights? 

A: Yes

Classic Car Nights 

  • Sunday, Dec 6 and Sunday, Jan 3 

College Nights: Tuesdays will celebrate local colleges and universities! 

  • Dec 1: Orange Coast College 
  • Dec 8: Santa Ana College 
  • Dec 15: Cal State Fullerton
  • Dec 22: UC Irvine  
  • Dec 29: Chapman University                    

*No alcoholic beverages or drugs are allowed at the event!* 

Q: Are discounts available for military or community heroes? 

A: Yes, every Monday will honor community heroes such as teachers, military personnel, and first responders with a $5 coupon.   

Specific dates: 

  • Dec 7: Teachers! Use the code TEACH and bring your ID for verification. 
  • Dec 14: Military and Law Enforcement! Use the code SERVICE and bring your military or law enforcement ID for verification. 
  • Dec 21: Nurses, Doctors, and Hospital workers! Use code FIRST-AID and bring your medical ID for verification. 
  • Dec 28: Firefighters! Use code FIRE and bring your ID for verification. 

Q: What happens if it rains? 

A: The show will go on rain or shine since the programming will be modified based on rain and weather conditions. If thunderstorms, wind, or lightning were to occur, and the event had to be canceled because of safety concerns, guests will receive a credit to visit another day in lieu of a refund.

While Covid-19 continues to push into our yearly traditions, there are still ways to experience the normality of December and the winter holiday season. The OC Fair Night of Lights is a prime example of Orange County events that continue to adapt to the current health crisis brought by Covid-19.
